How do you describe yourself ?
Latinx Parenting is a bilingual organization rooted in social justice and children’s rights, the ongoing practice of nonviolence towards ourselves and others, self-reflection and connection, and community wellness for every generation.
What do you do?
Our mission is to offer Latinx communities and its allies, family education that encompasses the cultural, socio-political and diverse needs of each family.
Which languages do you talk and sing?
We are both fluent and literate in English and Spanish (I, Leslie, speak conversational French but only as needed and it's never really needed!)
In which ways are you willing to help community and families (locally and worldwide)?
We offer family education and support that is culturally responsive to and for the Latinx community and its allies, trauma-informed, and centered on strengths and advocacy. We are transforming the culture of parenting by educating, advocating, envisioning and inspiring families to end the cycle of violence towards themselves and their children through the practice of nonviolence, self-reflection, connection, and community wellness. Our services include PARENTING CLASSES, SUPPORT GROUPS, PARENT COACHING, RESOURCE SUPPORT, PROFESSIONAL TRAININGS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, & CONSULTING

Qué es lo que hacen?
Nuestra misión es ofrecer a las comunidades Latinx y sus aliados, educación para la familia que sea sensible a la diversidad cultural, socio politica de cada familia.
Qué idiomas hablan y cantan?
Las dos hablamos y somos fluidas en Inglés y Español. (Yo, Leslie puedo hablar Francés basico y solo cuando se necesite)
En que maneras estan ayudando a la comunidad y a las familias (localmente y alrededor del mundo)?
