Where do you live?
I live on Raymatush Ohlone Lands in the Ohlone Village of Yelamu, the Spanish colonizers called it yerba buena, and the US colonizers call it San Francisco
How do you describe yourself?
I'm a two-spirit solo parent of a toddler. I use they/them pronouns. I believe parenting is all about honoring your ancestors, showing how to give, and teaching the truth to history. I uplift indigenous values esp of the collective instead of the individual
What do you do?
I'm a community organizer who has worked on so many issues, one is working on taking down racist statues and murals down on the land that I live on. I am also working on creating the very first-ever queer families parent advisory council in any public school district. I am working on changing forms to include all families so all forms have gender-neutral words to describe parents and that children are free to choose their gender outside of the binary if it applies. My child and I also colaborated in a wonderful Children's album THE LOVE of Alphabet Rockers that got an Grammy Nomination.

Only English
In which ways are you willing to help community and families (locally and worldwide)?
I do this every day, I believe in the collective, I believe in interdependence. I volunteer lots of my time, I give back, pay it forward through community organizing, donations and volunteer and i do this with my child so they are learning lessons of how to do this

Dónde vives?

Cómo se describen?
Soy una persona llamada dos espíritus criando a un chiquis. Uso los pronombres Elles. Creo que la crianza es honrar a los ancestros, enseñar a dar, enseñar la verdad de la historia. Mantengo los valores de los pueblos originarios especialmente en el ver la importancia de el colectivo por encima de el individuo.
Qué hacen?
Soy una persona que activa la comunidad y he trabajado en muchas causas como las de remover estatuas y murales racistas en la comunidad en la que vivo. También estoy trabajando en crear el primer consejo para familia queer en mi distrito escolar. Estoy trabajando para incluir todo tipo de familias en las formas que hay que llenar y tambien usar terminos de género inclusivo. Tambien colaboré con mi chiquis en el album de Aphabet Rockers THE LOVE que obtuvo una nominación al Grammy.
Qué idiomas hablas y cantas?
Solo uno, Inglés.
En que maneras estas dispuesta a ayudar a tu comunidad y familias (localmente y mundialmente)?
Hago esto todo los días, creo en el colectivo, y en la interdependencia. Voluntario mi tiempo, doy a otros, pago en amor en mi comunidad organizando, haciendo donaciones y voluntariando y lo hago con mi hijis al cual le enseño por medio de esto.
