If you are in South Florida on the last weekend of February, the Lake Worth Street Painting Festival is an event that you should come and see. Is an experience that inspires art, you can see all kinds of artists making different chalk paintings on the street, you can enjoy the charming diversity of Lake Worth City and music and food!! This event is family friendly and is free!! We really make it every year, because the works of art are really amazing!!
For families with little ones, there is a zone for your kids to paint, so is hands on. This event is been bringing lots of people to this city and I have to say that it does get crowded. It happens during the two days of the weekend, so I will recommend either coming early or late on the second day to avoid too many people. Try to bring your small stroller or even better a baby carrier for your baby and enough water and sunscreen. People bring their pets also, so be mindful that it sometimes is going to be crowded to walk, but my kids and I thoroughly think is worth it!! Please check their site for dates for next year. Son dos días en el fin de semana, asi que yo recomiendo venir temprano o tarde el segundo día para ver evitar las multitudes. Trata de traer un cochecito pequeño o mejor aún un cargador para tu bebé y suficiente agua y protector solar. Mucha gente también trae a sus mascotas, asi que ten presente de que aveces va a ser ocupado el caminar, pero mis hijos y yo creemos que realmente vale la pena!
