The Passover=Pascua Judía

Last Monday, we were invited to celebrate with a group of friends the Passover. We had done this in the past because I like to share the story of the Hebrews in Egypt with our kids. The book we use was: "The Miracles of Passover" with many flaps to open and great illustrations. We had a beautiful time sharing the reading of the cups and even singing "All we need is love" at the end! There are so many lessons over this tradition! The fact that the Pharaon was so full of himself and that all the plagues came have lots of meanings. Also, the blood at the doors and the journey out of Egypt is amazing. At the end, I can also be tied a lot of what happened that day with the last supper of Jesus on earth. How many lessons of Passover can we apply into our lives?

 

 

El lunes pasado, fuimos invitados a celebrar la Pascua Judia. Hemos hecho esto antes porque me encanta compartir la historia de el pueblo Hebreo en Egipto con los niños. El libro que usamos se llama: "The Miracles of Passover" con muchas solapas para abrir y lindas ilustraciones. Tuvimos un precioso tiempo leyendo las el significado de las copas y hasta cantando "Todo lo que necesitamos es amor" al final! Existen muchas lecciones acerca de esta tradicion! El hecho de que el Faraon era tan soberbio y todas las plagas que sucedieron pueden tener tantos significados. La sangre en el dintel de las puertas y la huida fuera de Egipto es espectacular. Al final, tambien he podido relacionar esta celebracion con la Ultima Cena de Jesus en la tierra. Cuantas lecciones de la Pascua Judia podemos aplicar en nuestras vidas?
