Where do you live?
We are based in Oakland, CA
How do you describe yourself?
We're artists, we're parents, we're educators and community members. We bring joy to complex topics - we make music that makes change. We write and perform original hip hop music for children and families around the country, aged 5-10 years old. We also create podcasts, curriculum and model experiences for how to talk, engage and work with our children to make change and end oppression.
What do you do?
We are full time musicians
How many languages do you speak and sing?
Solamente uno - English.
In which ways are you willing to help community and families (locally and worldwide)?
We are currently working with youth arts activists on a movement called "The Butterfly Effect," inspired by Faviana Rodriguez and Culture Strike. The goal is to get children out of detention camps - and children will make 15,000 butterflies to represent each of the current children unlawfully detained and separated from families.
We also are willing to call out bias and oppression in all ways. We stand WITH our communities: native/indigenous, two-spirit, LGBTQI, Black, brown, immigrant, migrant, all genders, all abilities, all ages. We are always willing to be allies, advocates and accomplices for changing culture and systems. AND YES, through children's music!

Dónde vives?
Estamos situados en Oakland, CA
Cómo se describen?
Somos artistas, somos padres, somos educadores y miembros de la comunidad. Traemos alegría a temas complejos - hacemos música que activa cambio. Escribimos y ofrecemos hip hop original para niños y familias atraves de el país, desde las edades de 5 a 10 años. En que maneras estas dispuesta a ayudar a tu comunidad y familias (localmente y mundialmente)?
Estamos trabajando con artistas emergentes en las artes activistas en un movimiento llamado "The Butterfly Effect" (El Efecto Mariposa), inspirados por Faviana Rodrigues y Culture Strike. La meta es alcanzar a los niños en los campos de detención - y los chicos haran 15,000 mariposas para representar a cada uno de los niños que han sido detenidos de una manera totalmente ilegalmente y separados de sus familias.
Tambien estamos trabajando para eradicar el bias y la opresión en todas sus maneras. Estamos apoyando a las comunidades: nativas/indigénas, dos-espiritus, LGBTQI (Comunidad Lesbiana, Gay, Trans, Queer, Instersex), Negra, Morena, imigrante, emigrante, todos los generos, todas las abilidades, todas las edades. Siempre buscamos ser aliados, abogar y acompañar para cambiar la cultura y los sistemas y SI, por medio de la música de niños!
