Where do you live?

I live in Atlanta, GA.

 

How do you describe yourself? 

Soy una estrella anaranjada quien baila por todo el mundo!  (jajaja). I am a lover of orange, a lover of dance and a mama of 4 who is committed to increasing bilingualism in the Black community.

What do you do? 

I am the founder and executive director of Bilingual Brown Babies which is a lifestyle program for Black families who want to be bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

How many languages do you speak and sing? 

Three and a half.  I speak English, Spanish, French and VERY little Portuguese.

 

In which ways are you willing to help community and families (locally and worldwide)?

I am committed to families and my community.  My community especially is overlooked often when it comes to language and bilingualism (unless we have Spanish as a heritage language).  I feel that what I do in my business addresses both families and my community because of that.
